I joined Evolution as Chief Software Architect in 2016.
I started coding on the ZX Spectrum and BBC Micro. I built my first website in 1997, my first relational database in 1999. I’ve been managing software developers since 2002 and that lead to an MBA, with my dissertation on Agile development practices, in 2009.
I’ve built data warehouses, call centres, web sites, desktop software and mobile applications. I’ve worked in high data-protection, high security and high uptime environments, often all at the same time.
I’m a business nerd and really enjoy finding ways to get the most competitive advantage from software. I’m a programming language nerd and love learning new things.
In my spare time I’m an avid reader, gamer, rock climber, foody, F1 fan and dad. The latter takes up the most time and is the most rewarding.
